I don’t love when the weather turns from warm weather to cold weather. But I do love eating soup. There is nothing like eating a bowl of yummy soup and feeling it warm your body from head to toe.
I love trying new soup recipes but we definitely have a rotation of recipes that we go through during the cold winter season. Here are a few of our favorites.
1. Broccoli Soup
I did not discover this soup until well into adulthood and I’m so sad about all the years that I missed out on this deliciousness. We love this recipe with a loaf of sourdough bread This is my favorite recipe.

2. Sopas (Filipino Recipe)
This was a favorite recipe growing up and it was one of the first things I learned to cook after we got married. It is basically the Filipino version of chicken noodle soup. I always double this batch and we rarely have leftovers when this is on the menu. It is definitely a crowd-pleaser.
3. Taco Soup
After I gave birth to my 2nd child this was a meal that a sweet neighbor brought for our family when I got home from the hospital. I love how simple and yummy this recipe is. Be sure to make extras to freeze for those nights you just don’t have the energy or time to cook.
4. Cauliflower Soup
I had never heard of Cauliflower soup until my 7-year-old ordered it at Cafe Zupas. It was surprisingly yummy and he regularly requests it. This is an easy recipe that he approved of.

5. Wonton Soup
I did not start making this recipe until Costco started selling my favorite frozen wontons. This is another crowd-pleaser that always requires a double batch.

6. Honorable Mentions
