1. Art lessons

Give your artist the gift of art lessons. Check your local community for paint classes, pottery classes, ceramics classes, and more! If you don’t have any, consider checking out Creative Bug. They have everything from sketching classes to cooking classes to crochet classes to jewelry making classes and more!

2. Art Supplies

  • Sketchbooks
  • Sketching pencils
  • Canvas
  • Paint
  • Water Colors
  • Pastels
  • Markers
  • Glitter
  • Modeling Clay

3. Handlettering Supplies

Handlettering, or modern calligraphy is something that I fell into a few years ago and I have loved it as a creative outlet. I never got into adult coloring books, but to me this is as relaxing as people say adult coloring books are. Below are some of my favorite supplies for beginning with handlettering.

4. Origami Kit

My son has recently been bit by the origami bug and he is wishing for an origami kit this year. This origami kit comes with double sided paper and a book with instructions.

5. Sidewalk chalk

It’s important to color outside the lines and I feel like side walk chalk is the perfect to do that with.

6. Jewelry Supplies

  • Beads – This cute kit has a combination of beads, charms and other supplies to make jewelry.
  • Hand Stamped Jewelry Set – This is something that surprised me. It’s quite fun to do and the possibilities are endless!

I you found inspiration for gifts outside of the box on this post. Check out my other gift ideas here.
