A great gift to give is that of membership. Sometimes these memberships come with more than just membership to the one location you buy it for. Below are just a few ideas.

Museums

Visiting museums is a favorite activity that our family enjoys doing together. Whether it’s a children’s museum, art museum, or science museum there is usually fun to be had by all. When buying a membership pass to a museum, I would suggest getting one that is part of a program which gets you access to other museums. This way you get to visit museums for free when you guys travel.

Trampoline park

Trampoline parks are a gift to both kids and parents. Especially during the winter and when school is out. I love trampoline parks for helping to get my kids energy out on the days that are just too cold to wander outside.

Zoo Membership

The zoo is a classic place to visit at least once a year. A membership gets you (discounted) access to special events too!

Theme park

Who doesn’t love a theme park?! What a fun gift a membership pass to a theme park would be! My personal favorite and wish would be for Disneyland. I know there are awesome theme parks all over. If you have one near you, consider giving a pass as a gift.

National and State park Memberships

Everyone needs a little nature therapy once in a while. Even those of us who don’t consider themselves “outdoorsy”. State and National park memberships would be such a great way to see the beauty of the earth.

I’m sure I missed some. What other membership gift ideas would you add to this list?
