This week on the menu is the following:

Menu. Weekly Menu plan

Thanksgiving Leftovers

I typically serve Thanksgiving leftovers just the way that we had them on Thanksgiving Day. I know there are a lot of recipes out there that repurpose Thanksgiving leftovers in many delicious ways. Here are a few that look delicious.

  • Turkey Soup
  • Sheperd’s Pie
  • Turkey fried rice
  • Leftover Turkey Sandwich with cranberry sauce

Mississippi Chicken

This is a super yummy and easy recipe to make. Serve on top of rice and with a side of vegetables. You can find the recipe I use here.

Bistek

This is one of my favorite Filipino Dishes. It’s also known as beefsteak. It’s basically thinly sliced beef marinated in soy sauce and lemon juice and then fried with onions. So simple and so yummy. Keep an eye out for that recipe here on the blog.

Arroz Caldo

Arroz Caldo is such a delicious comfort food. It’s a rice porridge similar to congee. I love to serve this with eggs, fried garlic, and green onions. That recipe is also in the works and I’ll be sharing it soon. P.S. It’s an instant In the meantime, try this recipe.

I hope these recipes help you in your menu planning. What are you guys having for dinner this week? Do you think you’ll try any of the ideas I listed here?
